Key issues in air transport management research in India are analyzed through bibliometric methods: Research trends and Key Contributors

Author: Nancy Katiyar, Arvind Banger

Country: India

Bibliometric analysis uses computer-assisted techniques to systematically identify leading
researchers, key publications, and emerging trends in a specific academic field. In this paper, we delve into the managerial and organisational dimensions of air transport research, specifically within the Indian context, providing insights into how this sector has evolved. By leveraging an analysis of existing data, this research situates Indian contributions to air transport management within a broader, more comprehensive framework of established research.

The utilisation of bibliometric analysis allows for a
detailed depiction of the content and thematic focus of research outputs. However, it is crucial to recognise that the subject keywords used in such analyses are often overly broad, hindering established researchers from refining their research focus effectively.
Additionally, this vagueness poses challenges for early-career scholars in making informed decisions regarding research topics that could substantially enhance their professional trajectory. Moreover, while this study successfully identifies prevailing research trends within Indian air transport management, it also highlights the necessity for a more nuanced approach to uncovering potential research gaps. The results indicate that the field has experienced considerable growth, particularly in critical areas such as airport efficiency, operations of low-cost carriers, service quality, and the complexities of air
cargo logistics. This growth reflects not only the growing importance of these topics in air transport but also the potential for future research to address existing gaps and deepen understanding of this dynamic industry.

Author: G. Kowsalya, Mr. Ajay Krishnan G

Country: India

The marketing strategies play a crucial role in normalizing online gambling among youth.
The results also highlight gender-based and usage-based differences in awareness and
perception levels. The study concludes by emphasizing the urgent need for comprehensive
awareness programs, incorporation of digital literacy and behavioural risk education in
academic curricula, and stricter regulatory measures to control misleading advertisements and
underage access. The findings contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing
insights into student behaviour and offering practical recommendations for educators,
policymakers The proliferation of internet technologies and mobile applications has led to a
significant rise in online gambling activities, particularly among young adults and college
students. This study aims to examine the level of awareness and risk perception of online
gambling among college students, with a focus on their understanding of its legal status,
addictive nature, financial consequences, and psychological implications. The research adopts
a quantitative approach using a structured questionnaire administered to a diverse sample of
college students from different academic backgrounds. The study investigates key dimensions
such as students’ familiarity with various online gambling platforms, frequency of
engagement, motivations for participation, and sources of information. It also explores how
demographic factors, peer influence, and exposure to digital advertisements contribute to
shaping attitudes toward online gambling. The findings reveal that although a high proportion
of students are aware of online gambling and its basic functioning, there exists a limited and
often superficial understanding of its associated risks. Many respondents tend to perceive
online gambling as a recreational or harmless activity, underestimating the potential for
addiction, financial loss, academic disruption, and mental health issues such as stress and
anxiety. Furthermore, the study identifies a discrepancy between awareness and risk
perception, indicating that knowledge alone does not necessarily translate into cautious behaviour. Social influences, ease of access, and aggressive, and mental health professionals to mitigate the risks associated with online gambling

Author:

Country: India

Author: Neetu Sharma & Shabnam Tiwari

Country: India

Author: Manisha Jitendra Raval, Khushboo Sharma & O P Gupta

Country: India

ABSTRACT
The present study focuses on the importance of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in improving the quality of teaching with special reference to higher education in India. CPD is a crucial tool for teachers to enhance skills, improve their methods and results, and adapt to changes in the teaching of subjects and the use of technology. This paper aims to identify obstacles and difficulties in the implementation of efficient professional development in India, such as the support system of institutions, the involvement of the faculty, and barriers at the level of the system. The studyexamines studies published between 2020 to 2025 that include both Indian and global studies. The main findings show that CPD does improve instructional practice, but it is not as effective when these programs are short, not in line with faculty needs, and do not have strong institutional support. It concludes with the need for a structured, ongoing, research-based CPD model that is strongly supported by institutional leadership that promotes ongoing professional growth and improved instructional practice in
Indian university teaching. Future research should develop more inclusive and flexible CPD models for various teaching contexts.

Country: India

ABSTRACT
Mutual funds have become one of the most popular investing options for individual investors due to the fact that they are managed by professionals, offer the benefits of diversification, are liquid, and are easy to access. One of the most sought-after investment channels is mutual funds, which have recently gained popularity. The success of investing in mutual funds, on the other hand, is mostly reliant on the investors' awareness and comprehension of the different schemes that are offered by mutual funds. Mutual funds offer a wide variety of investment opportunities. There is a correlation between the level of awareness of investors and the decisions they make regarding investments, the way they perceive risk, the funds they choose, and their long-term financial planning. The purpose of this article is to research the level of awareness that investors have regarding mutual funds and the schemes that they offer. A theoretical framework is built in order to accomplish this investigating. All of the following are taken into consideration: the concept of investor awareness, the factors that have an effect on investor awareness, the theoretical underpinnings of investor awareness, and the connection between investor awareness and investment behaviour. A foundation for future empirical research that will be carried out with the purpose of acquiring this understanding is provided by the framework. This study will be carried out with the objective of gaining an understanding of how awareness contributes to informed investment decisions and the expansion of the mutual fund sector.

Author: Venkatesha Prasanna P K

Country: India

ABSTRACT:
The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) was passed by the Government of India in 2005. The Act guarantees 100 days of wage employment in a financial year to rural household members who are willing to do unskilled manual work. MGNREGA was helpful in poverty reduction and stabilising the Indian economy. The MGNREGA provides empowerment to socially deprived groups, especially women, Scheduled Castes (SCs), and Scheduled Tribes (STs). It also strengthens decentralized, participating planning through the convergence of several anti-poverty and livelihoods initiatives. MGNREGA not only provides employment to the unskilled people in rural areas, but also helps in creating awareness among them about the banking business, the facilities available there through continuous contact with the panchayat, and the programs undertaken by the government for poverty alleviation. It thereby plays an important role in increasing their participation rate in economic activities. This is helping to improve their standard of living by increasing their sources of income as well as improving their daily activities. The present study conducted in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka; the study involved over 100 rural households across the district. It has examined the impact of MGNREGA on the rural deprived who are mainly comprised of small and marginal farmers & agricultural labourers. MGNREGA has helped improve the socio-economic status of small and marginal farmers, landless agricultural laborers and the unskilled people in rural areas by providing them with 100-day employment guarantee and create source of income. Before this all of them lived a lowly life with no work to do and no source of income. Through this MGNREGA program is helpful in eradicating poverty in rural areas as well as improving their socio-economic standard of living. And also, the creation of sustainable rural infrastructure which is expected to foster rural economic growth. Finaly, the MGNREGA has a huge impact on the employment structure of rural it helps to reduced poverty and prevented people from falling into poverty.

BEYOND BORDERS: A SMART-LOCAL FRAMEWORK FOR FOOD PROCESSING MACHINERY MARKETING IN THE GULF AND AFRICA

Author: Altaf Shaikh, Zamarrud Ansari

Country: India

ABSTRACT
The food processing machinery industry is an important pillar of global food security, industrial modernisation, and value addition in the agricultural industry. Owing to rapid urbanisation, changing consumption patterns, and the growing demand for processed food products, there are huge opportunities for machinery manufacturing companies to expand into international markets. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and African economies have shown great potential as emerging regions owing to rising investments in the food processing industry, government initiatives to promote industrial diversification, and growing awareness of food safety and quality standards. Even with such possibilities, companies entering these markets will face regulatory issues, differences in infrastructure, cultural differences, financial hurdles, and technological adaptation challenges.
This conceptual study deals with foreign marketing strategies appropriate for food-processing machinery manufacturing firms in the Gulf and African countries. This study builds on existing theories of international, relationship, industrial, sustainability, and digital transformation marketing, integrating the ensuing concepts to create a novel strategic framework known as the SMART-LOCAL Framework. It is a framework that combines sustainable value propositions, marketing information integration, tailored product innovation, regional partnership networks, technology demonstration hubs, localisation of services, omni-channel marketing, capacity building, low-cost financing products, and relationship management. In addition to product quality and technological superiority, this study suggests that firms need to establish localised value chains via strategic alliances, educate consumers, and innovate with a sustainability focus if they wish to be successful in their future competitiveness in these markets. This work is part of the body of research, building on the existing literature on international industrial marketing, to guide manufacturers in growing more sustainably in emerging markets.

VIRTUAL REALITY-BASED BRAND EXPERIENCES AND THEIR IMPACT ON GLOBAL CONSUMER PURCHASE DECISIONS IN THE LUXURY FASHION INDUSTRY

Author: Harshada Aurangabadkar , Pratap Vasantrao Pawar , Jini Manish Saxena & Amit Arun Medhekar

Country: India

ABSTRACT
The luxury fashion industry has been revolutionized by the rapid advancement of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, which have allowed brands to create immersive, interactive, and personalized consumer experiences. Virtual reality-based brand experiences enable consumers to interact with luxury products in simulated environments, thereby improving product visualization, emotional engagement, and experiential value beyond conventional retail channels. This investigation investigates the impact of VR-based brand experiences on the global consumer purchase decisions of the luxury fashion industry. It investigates the degree to which consumer perceptions of brand authenticity, trust, perceived quality, customer engagement, and purchase intention are influenced by immersive virtual environments in a variety of cultural and geographical markets. The investigation of the psychological mechanisms that influence consumer decision-making in virtual luxury retail environments is based on experiential marketing theory and technology acceptability perspectives. The relationships among the defined variables are to be investigated using a quantitative research design that incorporates advanced statistical techniques and structured questionnaires. It is anticipated that the results will show that immersive VR experiences substantially increase consumer engagement and emotional attachment, resulting in stronger purchase intentions and greater brand loyalty. Additionally, the necessity of localized digital marketing strategies is underscored by the expectation that cultural distinctions will influence the adoption and efficacy of VR-enabled brand interactions among consumers. This study contributes to the expanding body of knowledge on luxury brand management and digital transformation by offering empirical insights into the ways in which virtual reality can enhance customer relationships and influence purchasing behavior in international markets. The study also provides strategic implications for luxury fashion brands that are interested in utilizing immersive technologies to improve customer experiences, enhance competitive advantage, and foster sustainable development in the evolving global digital marketplace.
