EXPLORING ENTREPRENEURIAL MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN EMERGING MARKETS

Author: Priyali Deshmukh & Arambhi Ahuja

Country: India

ABSTRACT
Emerging markets present a dynamic mix of rapid growth potential, institutional voids, resource constraints, and cultural heterogeneity. Entrepreneurs who succeed in these environments combine adaptive management, frugal innovation, network-building, and creative financing with an acute ability to navigate regulatory and institutional complexity. This paper synthesizes contemporary literature and empirical observations to propose an integrated framework of entrepreneurial management strategies tailored to emerging markets. It reviews macro drivers, situational constraints, and firm-level strategic responses; suggests a mixed-methods research design for studying these strategies; and offers policy recommendations to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems. Key insights emphasize (1) the centrality of frugal and user-centric innovation, (2) the strategic use of local networks and hybrid governance, and (3) the role of mission-oriented public policy to reduce market failures and crowd in productive private investment.

Keywords: Emerging markets, entrepreneurial strategies, frugal innovation, institutional voids, network governance, adaptive management, access to finance

Author: Dawan & Lamphrang

Country: India

ABSTRACT
Even though visitors' stays in tourist destinations are brief, the effects of their actions can be very noticeable on the host communities. Tourism improves the quality of life for inhabitants in popular tourist areas. Most of these tourism-related effects (which can be good or bad) have been looked at from economic, social, cultural, and environmental angles. The purpose of this study is to explore how local residents perceive the impact of tourism and whether these perceptions affect how satisfied they are with local tourism management. Residents' perceptions and attitudes on the effects of tourism are expected to be a key planning and policy consideration for the successful development, promotion, and administration of present and upcoming programmes and initiatives. For this study, 250 residents staying nearby various tourist destinations in Meghalaya were surveyed from 2018-2021. The issues discussed include the pricing strategy for goods and services, closing service quality gaps, promoting and developing cultural tourism, and protecting the environment through the best practices of responsible and sustainable tourism.

ABSTRACT

Research is a scientific, systematic, comparative and evaluating study of finding new facts/ theories or old facts/ theories. Research is crucial for both understanding arguments and finding solutions to various global issues. The aim of research is to answer to problems through the application of scientific methodology which guarantees that the information is reliable and unbiased. Research is directly proportional to the quality of advanced research, if researchers are not able to follow the methodology, their efforts may not produce the required results, and then in some cases, it may cause endless word-spinning and too many quotations and consequently disappointment and frustration for the researcher although the hypothesis of applying an appropriate methodology to effective research and the difficulties associated with it can be envisaged. Researchers may find that research work is not a simple task but very complex phenomena which necessitate consideration of set proceeding. As research begins with the elaboration of an idea, a question, or a previous line of inquiry, it is pertinent to note that research planning should never be undertaken by researchers without academic and rational confidence. Researchers have to pay due attention to designing and adhering to the appropriate methodology throughout for improving the quality of research. This paper focuses on essential elements of research work as context of planning and development, in which the significance of research lies. The methodology may differ from problem to problem, yet the basic approach towards research remains the same.
